I never used that word. However, I guess it depends on how many times you want to tax every dollar. By the time the capital gains tax comes into play the dollars used for the investment has been taxed multiple times.

Or, get rid of the capital gains tax. To have a differential tax on capital and then pretend it’s “unfair” is just stupid. Have a public policy and stick to it.

You seem to look at taxes with a moral prism. If that’s the case, you should know the 14% isn’t meaningful. If you add up all of the money Romney didn’t keep – charitable contributions and taxes – the percentage far exceeds what Obama, Biden, and most liberals pay out.
